Record turnout for PNC Jeep Davis 5K

A record 493 runners entered the 12th annual PNC Jeep Davis 5K on May 22. The dire weather forecast never became reality as the rains held off on a warm cloudy morning at Lake Anna Park.
Medinaís David Mealy took home the menís overall title with a time of 16:02. Mike Capriolo, of Akron, was second at 16:30. Cantonís Dan Sparks was third at 16:40.
Beth Woodard, of Orrville, is the 2010 womenís champion, posting a time of 19:06. Andrea White, of Ashland, was second at 19:18. Amy Hovan, of Akron, placed third at 20:05.
A pair of Massillon residents took home the mastersí titles (40 and over). Sharon Saban took the womenís crown at 21:47. Kevin Walsh was the menís winner at 17:51.
Charlie Dunifer was the top finisher from Barberton with a time of 18:42.
