Endowment Funds become "endowed" once they reach $5,000 in value.
Prior to this time, distributions from the fund will not occur.
All distributions are in accordance with the Foundation's spending policy (5.5% of a rolling twelve-quarter average of the value of the individual funds).
Pass-through funds do not need to reach any specified level of funding.
In addition, all of the money in the fund may be drawn down by the beneficiary in accordance with the terms of the fund.
Once the fund is depleted, it terminates.
